Are there additional costs?
No, when you pay the flat-rate daily planning fee, you are responsible for the bookings with the travel/experience providers.
However, destination photoshoot planning is an optional add-on which incurs an additional charge. The cost of the service will be discussed on an individual basis.
When do I pay?
Payment must be made prior to the beginning of service. You will receive a request for payment after review of your submitted trip planning questionnaire.
What if I need to cancel?
You may be able to get a refund of the travel planning service fee depending on when you cancel.
If you cancel your trip after submitting your questionnaire but before answering any follow-up questions or receiving accommodation options, then you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel after receiving lodging/accommodation options but before confirming a choice, then you will receive the amount you paid less $20 as compensation for the time to find personalized recommendations for accommodation.
No refund will be provided after your personalized itinerary has been sent to you.
Trip cancellations
No refund will be provided due to trip cancellations. However, if your trip is delayed due to extenuating circumstances, then your itinerary will be rearranged at no additional cost. If the trip is postponed for the foreseeable future, then you will get an updated itinerary for the new dates at no extra cost.
How many revisions can I make to my trip plan?
Each plan comes with 2 rounds of revisions.
Note that small updates (such as switching out a restaurant here or there) do not count as revisions. A revision includes significant changes to one or more days.
When is the deadline for me to request a revision?
Request for a final revision must be made at least 72 hours before the start of the trip.
Do you make the bookings?
The premium service includes all bookings so you would not have to lift a finger.
However, the flat-rate daily plan service does not include bookings. With this service, you will receive lodging option(s), activities, tours, restaurants, etc as part of your trip plan. The trip plan will include exactly what is to be booked and where but you are responsible for making the bookings.
What if I have questions about my travel plan?
Your travel plan will be reviewed with you on a call. You may ask questions about the plan at any time. However, after the final revision of the plan is delivered to you, any questions on the final revision must be asked via email at least 24 hours prior to departure date for the trip.
My trip is in a few days. Can you help?
All requests must be submitted at least 5 business days before the start of the trip. However, if your trip is within 5 business days, submit a request and you will be notified shortly about if the plan can be created for you. Please note that if the plan can be created, then there will be an extra Rush fee charge of $25 per day of your trip.
Can I provide my input on my travel plan?
Yes, please! Feel free to add any inputs you have when completing the questionnaire. If you have any must-see or must-d0 activities, restaurants you absolutely want to try or any other existing plans, then add them! You may also email your trip designer with the information.
When can I expect to receive my travel plan?
To ensure the best possible personalized itinerary, please allow up to 7-10 days to receive your travel plan.
Kindly note that any delay to confirm important information about your trip may lead to delay of your travel plan.
